The Gems of Uttaranchal Package (UA06) is a 6-night, 7-day journey blending spirituality, adventure, and nature. Starting with the divine Ganga Aarti at Haridwar, the trip continues to Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world, where temples, ghats, Neelkanth Mahadev, and river rafting await. Next, the tour moves to the serene hills of Mussoorie, offering waterfalls, gardens, and panoramic Himalayan views. Finally, it concludes in Dehradun with visits to Sahastradhara, monasteries, temples, and vibrant local markets before departure.
Pick up from airport and drive to Haridwar (90 minutes). Arrive and visit the Ghat to see majestic evening Aarti at Har-ki –Pauri. Har-ki-Pauri is the main ghat known as Brahmakund, popular legend has it that Lord Vishnu left his footprint at Har-ki-Pauri. The entire area resonates with the sound of conch shells and bells, as priests perform traditional river worship. Thousands of earthen lamps are floating in the river, twinkling like gold in the darkness, creating an entrancing image. After this divine experience, return to the hotel for the night stay.
After breakfast we will visit Mansa Devi temple, Maya Devi temple, Daksha Mahadev temple, Sapta Rishi temple and Ramanand ashram. By early afternoon proceed to Rishikesh and check into the hotel. Rishikesh: 'Place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. Besides holding spiritual significance for Hindus, Rishikesh is renowned as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World,’ the fast-flowing Ganges is surrounded by forested hills inside the city. Apart from temples and ashrams Rishikesh is now a popular white-water rafting center, backpacker hang-out, and gateway to treks in the Himalaya. In the afternoon visit Ramjhula, Janaki Setu, Parmarth Niketan, Geeta Bhawan, in the evening you may visit Triveni Ghat to see the prayers. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast visit famous Neelkanth Mahadev temple - temple is located amidst the lush greenery of the Garhwal Himalayas, offering a scenic drive through winding roads and picturesque landscapes. Enjoy the journey and make occasional stops to capture the beauty of the surroundings. From the parking slot the trek is about 1.5kms. Later visit the Neer garh waterfalls (5 kms from Rishikesh) Rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Or indulge in river rafting activity. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast we drive to Mussoorie (2hrs) Arrive Mussoorie by evening and check into the hotel. Mussoorie: The word Mussoorie comes from a Mussoorie plant called Shrubmansoor, which grows abundantly in this region. Its lovely green hills, diversified flora and fauna, and spectacular vistas of the Shivalik peaks and Doon Valley make it an ideal hill resort. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at hotel. Later enjoy the sightseeing covering Prakasheshwar temple, Mussoorie lake, Bhatta fall, Kempty falls, company garden and Buddha monastery.
Note: Vehicle will not visit Gun hill, mall road, Lal Tibba and Landour. You will need to hire local taxi from the local union for the same.
After breakfast, drive to Dehradun via Sahastradhara: meaning thousand fold spring, is situated at 11 kms. This is a massive collection of water pools where water drips from limestone stalactites and turns them into sulfur springs. Taking a bath at Sahastradhara is regarded as both auspicious and healing since the water contains medicinal properties that can help people suffering from skin infections and helps in curing some other medical conditions as well. Arrive and check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit Mind rolling monastery (Buddha monastery) Tibetan market, Paltan Bazaar. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Later visit Robers cave, Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple, Forest research institute, by afternoon drop at airport to board flight to onward destination.
