Highlights of the Tour

This 7-day tour is designed for travelers interested in exploring the spiritual and cultural richness of Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Northern India. The itinerary covers Varanasi, Sarnath, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Naimisharanya, and Lucknow, offering a blend of Hindu, Buddhist, and Islamic heritage sites along with sacred rivers and historical monuments.

Itinerary

Arrive into Varanasi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.  P.M. we will visit Visalakhshi temple, Ashtbhairav temple, Chandrakoop Siddeshwari temple, Shital Maa temple.  

Evening Activity: Prepare for an unforgettable experience as you visit the renowned Dashashmedh Ghat to witness Ganga Aarti. You can choose to view the Ganga Aarti from a boat (available at an additional cost). Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Early Morning: Experience the morning atmosphere with a morning boat ride on the Ganges in Varanasi. Enjoy the mystical and spiritual atmosphere as you witness the sunrise and explore the ghats, including Manikarnika Ghat (the largest cremation ground in the world), Dashashwamedh Ghat, Assi Ghat, and others.  Return to the hotel for breakfast.   Later: Visit the famous temples of Varanasi, including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Temple, Kaal Bhairav Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Sankat Mochan (Hanuman Temple), Manas Mandir, and Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

Day Excursion:

 Travel to Sarnath, the historic site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at Deer Park. Discover the significant landmarks of Sarnath, including the Buddha Temples, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, and the Archaeological Museum. Evening: Return to your hotel in Varanasi, enjoy dinner, and relax with an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Allahabad where we will enjoy a bath on the Sangam (where Holy River Ganga, Yamuna and Srawasti confluence). It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking dip in Sangan point.

After breakfast, drive to Ayodhya (4-5hrs). Arrive by afternoon and check into the hotel. P.M. visit Ram Janam Bhumi, followed by visit to other sites such as Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhavan, Tulsi Smarak Bhawan, Sita Ki Rasoi, Remnants of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam can still be found in Ayodhya. According to Jain belief, five Tirthankaras were born at Ayodhya, including Adinath (Rishabhadeva), the 1st tirthankara. Visit Saryu River in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast leave for Naimisharanya (4hrs) -It was at this place that for establishing Dharma on the earth, the Gods requested Maharshi Dadhichi to give his bones for preparing a weapon to kill the  Demon Vrittrasur. Visit Dadhichi Kund (where Sage Dadhichi sacrificed his bones).  Explore Sut Gaddi (where Puranas were narrated). Visit Balaji Temple & Nav Grah Temple. Explore Mishrikh Teerth (connected to Rishi Dadhichi). By late afternoon or evening, we proceed to Lucknow (3hrs) Arrive and check into the hotel. Lucknow is known for its rich history and cultural heritage, also has several spiritual sites that offer peace and devotion.  Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast proceed on a citytour and visit Hanuman Setu Temple – One of the most famous Hanuman temples in Lucknow, located near Gomti River, Explore Mankameshwar Mandir – An ancient Shiva temple where devotees believe prayers are always answered. Visit Bada Imambara – A significant Islamic shrine featuring the famous Bhul Bhulaiya (maze) and a grand mosque. Explore Chhota Imambara – A beautiful Shia Muslim monument with intricate chandeliers and Persian architecture.Visit Kali Bari Temple – Dedicated to Goddess Kali, this temple is an important spiritual center. Enjoy the Gomti Riverfront – Spend some peaceful time near the river and experience the evening Aarti at Gomti Ghat.

Early morning visit to Chandrika Devi Temple (28 km from Lucknow) – A revered Shakti Peetha believed to fulfill wishes. Return to the city and have breakfast. Visit Dewa Sharif (40 km from Lucknow) – A famous Sufi shrine dedicated to Haji Waris Ali Shah, known for its divine aura and spiritual energy.

Explore Teele Wali Masjid, an iconic mosque by the Gomti River, offering a serene atmosphere for prayer. Later drop at airport/station to board flight/train to onward destination.
