This 12-day journey takes you through India’s most sacred Hindu shrines and spiritual centers. Starting in Delhi with iconic temples like ISKCON, Akshardham, and Kalka Ji Mandir, the tour continues to Rishikesh and Haridwar for magical Ganga Aarti and serene Himalayan vibes. Explore Krishna’s birthplace in Mathura, the divine charm of Vrindavan, Gokul, and Barsana before flying to Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India. Experience sunrise boat rides on the Ganga, Sarnath’s Buddhist legacy, and the sacred confluence at Prayagraj. The tour concludes with a soul-stirring visit to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, before your departure.
Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast visit ISKCON Temple (Sri Radha Parthasarathi Mandir): lively temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. Explore the beautiful architecture. We will head now to Bahá'í House of Worship, after this visit ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Kali, (Kalka Ji Mandir) known for its vibrant atmosphere and bustling devotees. Continue the trail and proceed to Akshardham Temple: Spend a few hours at this architectural marvel. Explore the exhibitions, watch the musical fountain show, and enjoy the serene gardens. Return to hotel by evening and relax
Early morning train to Haridwar station. (4.5hrs train ride). Upon arrival transfer to Rishikesh and check into the hotel. Rishikesh: 'Place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. Besides holding spiritual significance for Hindus, Rishikesh is renowned as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World,’ the fast-flowing Ganges is surrounded by forested hills inside the city. Apart from temples and ashrams Rishikesh is now a popular white-water rafting centre, backpacker hang-out, and gateway to treks in the Himalaya. In the afternoon visit Ram Jhula, Janaki Setu, Parmarth Niketan, Geeta Bhawan, in the evening you may visit Triveni Ghat to see the prayers. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast visit the famous Neelkanth Mahadev temple - the temple is located amidst the lush greenery of the Garhwal Himalayas, offering a scenic drive through winding roads and picturesque landscapes. Enjoy the journey and make occasional stops to capture the beauty of the surroundings. From the parking slot the trek is about 1.5kms. Later visit the Neer garh waterfalls (5 kms from Rishikesh). Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast check out and drive to Haridwar, visit Mansa Devi temple, Maya Devi temple, Daksha Mahadev temple, Sapta Rishi temple and Ramanand ashram. Check into hotel and relax for some time in the evening visit the Ghat to see majestic evening Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Har-ki-Pauri is the main ghat known as Brahma Kund, popular legend has it that Lord Vishnu left his footprint at Har-ki-Pauri. The entire area resonates with the sound of conch shells and bells, as priests perform traditional river worship. Thousands of earthen lamps are floating in the river, twinkling like gold in the darkness, creating an entrancing image. After this divine experience, return to the hotel for the night stay.
After early breakfast drive to Vrindavan. Arrive and check into the hotel and rest for a while. Later visit the birthplace of Lord Krishna in Mathura and visit Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple - the birthplace of Lord Krishna, one of the most revered sites. Dwarkadhish Temple - A stunning temple dedicated to Lord Krishna with intricate architecture. Vishram Ghat - Take a boat ride on the Yamuna and experience the peaceful atmosphere.
Breakfast at a hotel. Visit Banke Bihari Temple, ISKCON Temple, and other temples in Vrindavan like Radha Raman Temple, Prem Mandir, and Nidhivan. By afternoon we can proceed to Gokul (approx. 1 hour), visit Gokul Nath Temple and explore the town where Krishna was raised. Lunch break and after that travel to Gokul (where Krishna was raised by Yashoda). Visit Nand Bhawan (Nand Mahal) - House of Nand Baba & Yashoda, where Krishna spent his childhood. Raman Reti - A sacred sandy area where Krishna is believed to have played - Chaurasi Khamba (84 Pillar Temple) A peaceful temple with beautiful carvings. Evening return to Mathura & Visit Kesava Deo Temple, followed by Yamuna Aarti at Vishram Ghat (a mesmerizing spiritual experience).
After breakfast check out and drive to Barsana (01hrs drive), Visit Shriji Temple: Dedicated to Radha, this temple is a major pilgrimage site during Holi, known for its unique Lathmar Holi celebrations, Rangeeli Mahal: A palace dedicated to Radha, showcasing intricate architecture and paintings and Brahma Kund: A sacred pond where Radha and Krishna are said to have played. After that drive to Delhi airport (4hrs) to board evening flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival in Varanasi, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Early Morning: Experience Subah-e-Banaras with a morning boat ride on the Ganges in Varanasi. Enjoy the mystical and spiritual atmosphere as you witness the sunrise and explore the ghats, including Manikarnika Ghat (the largest cremation ground in the world), Dashashwamedh Ghat, Assi Ghat, and others. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later: Visit the famous temples of Varanasi, including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Temple, Kaal Bhairav Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Sankat Mochan (Hanuman Temple), Manas Mandir, and Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
Day Excursion:
Travel to Sarnath, the historic site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at Deer Park. Discover the significant landmarks of Sarnath, including the Buddha Temples, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, and the Archaeological Museum. Evening: Return to your hotel in Varanasi, enjoy dinner, and relax with an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Allahabad where we will enjoy a bath on the Sangam (where Holy River Ganga, Yamuna and Srawasti confluence). It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking dip in Sangan point.
Note- to reach near Sangam, boat is to be hired on your own. After taking a bath in Sangam, explore other sights in Prayagraj such as Hanuman Temple, Anand Bhavan - one of the country’s best-running museums in memory of Jawahar Lal Nehru. Swaraj Bhawan - the house where the former Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born, Explore Allahabad Fort (outside view) & Ashoka Pillar. Visit Alopi Devi Temple. Enjoy the sunset at Khusro Bagh. Check into the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Ayodhya (4-5hrs). Arrive by afternoon and check into the hotel. P.M. visit Ram Janam Bhumi, followed by visit to other sites such as Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhavan, Tulsi Smarak Bhawan, Sita Ki Rasoi, Remnants of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam can still be found in Ayodhya. According to Jain belief, five Tirthankaras were born at Ayodhya, including Adinath (Rishabhadeva), the 1st tirthankara. Visit Saryu River in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.
