Highlights of the Tour

This 15-day journey combines the cultural wonders of Nepal with the serene spirituality of Bhutan. Start in Kathmandu with its UNESCO World Heritage temples, stupas, and an optional mountain flight. Explore Bhaktapur and Patan before heading to Chitwan National Park for jungle adventures including canoe rides, jeep safaris, and cultural shows. Continue to Pokhara with its serene lakes, Himalayan views, and excursions to Sarangkot, Davi’s Fall, caves, and temples. Then fly to Bhutan and experience the best of Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro with visits to Dzongs, monasteries, Dochula Pass, Tiger’s Nest, and traditional villages. End with a scenic excursion to Haa Valley via Chele La Pass, before flying home enriched with unforgettable memories. Package includes accommodations, transfers, guided sightseeing, jungle activities, and Bhutan entry permits. Exclusions are international flights, visas, meals not specified, tips, insurance, and personal expenses

Itinerary

Arrive at Kathmandu International airport. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel. 

Kathmandu 

is in the shape of Khukuri (knife) and has two thousand years old outstanding history. The city houses numerous historic monuments, cultural groups, architectural miracles and interesting culture. 

Early morning transfer to board Mountain View flight (Duration 50 min – subject to clear weather) after the majestic viewing return to the Hotel. Breakfast at hotel and proceed for a tour of Kathmandu. We will visit Durbar Square, which was a royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century. The palace is also known as the Hanuman Dhoka Palace Complex. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kumari Chowk is a house of the living goddess. The Kumari is a young girl who is the reincarnation of Taleju. She was discovered when she was about four years old after passing many tests. She did not show fear from the severed head of a water buffalo; she had to select items that belonged to the last incarnation of the Kumari from many objects; and many more, Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex also known as the monkey temple and is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site. Pashupatinath Temple is the oldest Hindu shrine and therefore the most sacred place of Hindu religion. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Boudhnath Stupa located on the eastern outskirts this is the largest stupa in Asia. It was built in the 14th century after the Mughals invaded the city. It is considered to be the holiest Buddhist Temple outside Tibet. Overnight stay.

In the morning visit Bhaktapur, also known as Bhadgaon, which means the City of Devotees and it houses three major squares full of lofty temples that display some of the finest sacred architecture in the entire country. Thin cobbled stone paths take you through the red-brick houses, connecting to the series of squares and courtyards that are dotted with temples, statues, and wells. You can stroll around this place leisurely. After this visit Patan located in the suburb of Kathmandu. A visit to Patan is remarkable due to its collection of temples and palaces. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu. 

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). A rich natural area in the Terai, the subtropical southern part of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of one horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tigers and Gharial Crocodiles. On arrival check in at resort for overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will go for a canoe ride at Rapti River. The river houses different species of crocodile. After lunch, enjoy a Jeep Safari to witness one horned rhinoceros, royal Bengal tiger, hyenas and other wild animals. (We have taken a step against ANIMAL CRUELTY, so shall not offer Elephant Safari). Evening you will be taken to Tharu Cultural show. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast drive to Pokhara. The pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, serene lakes and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, With the magnificent Annapurna range forming the backdrop and the serenity of three major lakes – Phewa, Rupa and Begnas, it is the ultimate destination for relaxation. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Early morning excursion to Sarangkot; a small village offering delightful view of the Annapurna Mountain Range. Return to the hotel. Rest for some time and later visit Bindebasini Temple, the white Pagoda style building dedicated to Goddess Durga, visit Gupteshwar Cave, a shrine dedicated to lord Shiva. Surrounded by dense forest of sal trees and flanked by Kolab River, the cave offers a delightful view of the surroundings, Davi’s fall, Seti gorge & Fewa Lake. Return to the hotel and rest. Overnight at the hotel. 

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu. Arrive and check into the hotel. Rest of the time at leisure.

Early morning transfer to board flight to Paro. Upon arrival transfer to Thimphu (02hrs) enroute stopping at - Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge. Thimphu is a bustling town on the banks of the Thimphu Chhu and set gloriously in the hills of the Thimphu valley. A must-see city that has truly set an example. After completing check in formalities visit, Memorial Chorten, Kuenschholing View Point (Largest sitting Buddha), Tashichho Dzong (Fortress), it houses the secretariat building, the throne room and the office of the king, and the central monk body. Overnight at Thimphu.

We hike to Kuensel Phodrang Nature Hike: Located just beside the largest sitting budha in the world, the hike takes 1Hr 45 minutes around the nature park and providing the views of the Thimphu.  Takin preserve National Park – a wildlife reserve area for Takin. It was started as a mini zoo, the King of Bhutan felt that it was improper for a Buddhist country to confine animals for religious and environmental reasons. He therefore ordered the release of the animals and the closure of the mini-zoo on converted into a preserve. The reason for declaring takin as a National Animal of Bhutan on 25 November 2005 is attributed to a legend of the animal’s creation in Bhutan in the 15th century by Lama. The preserve also holds a few Sambar and barking deer. Sangaygang View Point located North West of the Thimphu Valley, get yourself refreshed from the routine life in cool evening of the Thimphu breeze. Overnight at hotel. 

After breakfast, check out and ascend to Dochula Pass, 3,100 m high mountain pass with 108 stupas and Himalayan views. Druk Wangyal Chortens - the construction of these 108 chortens was commissioned by the eldest Queen Mother, Her Majesty Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk. The pass is also popular spiritual destination for both locals and tourists because an important (Druk Wangyal Lhakhang) temple is located on the crest of Dochula pass. It offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Himalayan mountain range.  Optional you may visit Royal Botanical Park, Lamperi – Optional visit for nature lovers. Arrive Punakha and check into the hotel. Later visit Punakha Dzong – Arguably the most beautiful dzong in Bhutan, Suspension Bridge – One of the longest in Bhutan, Chimi Lhakhang – Fertility temple dedicated to the Divine Madman. Overnight at the hotel in Punakha

Morning hike to, Kham Sum Yule Lhakhang (Monastey), Talo Village: The village of Talo (alt. 2,800m/9240ft) which is scattered along the hill slopes, known for its cleanliness and hygiene among Punakha villages, after that drive to Paro (4.5hrs) Arrive Paro and check into hotel. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight at hotel. 

Sightseeing: Hike to Tiger’s Nest. This is Bhutan’s most recognizable cultural icon perched 800m/2640ft up a seemingly sheer cliff. and visit Farm House (Picturesque farm houses dot the valley amongst fields and hillsides.  Return to Paro by late afternoon and if time and energy allows visit Kyichu Lhakhang – One of the oldest temples in Bhutan and Dumtse Lhakhang – Rare 3D mandala structure. Overnight at the hotel. 

After early breakfast leave for Haa Valley via Chele La Pass (1.5 hours from Paro - Elevation: 3,988 meters (13,083 ft). Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Jomolhari (if clear weather) and it’s a great photo opportunity., Continue your drive down into the pristine, pine-forested valley which is known as Haa Valley. 

Visit Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) – Seat of guardian deities, known for beautiful architecture.Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple) – Built on a sacred spot identified by a black pigeon, linked to tantric Buddhism.

Haa Town – Small, peaceful, walkable town where you can explore local shops or enjoy lunch. Optional (if time allows): Visit a local farmhouse for a traditional lunch or butter tea tasting. Return to Paro by late afternoon or evening. Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. 

Today your trip is over and after breakfast your guide will take you to Paro International Airport to board your departure flight, and you return back with lots of good memories.
