Highlights of the Tour

This journey blends India’s royal heritage, Mughal architecture, and natural wildlife. Starting in Delhi, travelers explore the iconic monuments of the capital before heading to Jaipur’s pink palaces. The tour includes thrilling wildlife safaris at Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh, and Kanha—home to tigers, leopards, and exotic birds. Cultural stops in Agra, Orchha, and Khajuraho showcase India’s architectural grandeur, while the forests of central India bring Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book to life.

Itinerary

Arrive in Delhi. You will be met by our representative in arrival lounge and transferred to hotel.  Overnight at the hotel. 

Breakfast at the hotel. Around 10AM, proceed on a city tour of Old and New Delhi. We start with Old Delhi and visit the majestic Jama Masjid (The Mosque) and enjoy a rickshaw ride through busy and historical Chandni Chowk. We continue and visit Gandhi Smiriti; and we make our way towards New Delhi and drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan (Presidents Palace and one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys) visit The India Gate: a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers.  P.M. visit Humayun’s Tomb, the tomb of Humayun was built by the orders of Bega Begum (also known as Haji Begum), Humayun's first wife and chief consort, The construction started in 1565, nine years after his death, and completed in 1572 AD at a cost of 1.5 million rupees at the time).  Qutub Minar of the 13th century an excellent example of Afghan Architecture. The Minar is 72.5 mts high victory tower, the construction of which began in the final year of twelfth century by Qutubuddin Aibak and later completed by his successor Iltutmish. Some shopping time and come back to the hotel the night stay.  

After, breakfast drive to Jaipur. Jaipur- the city capital in the autumnal sunset, literally blushed pink when Prince Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria visited in 1883. Interspersing the plan of red and pink were white borders and motiffs painstakingly outlining the architectural highlights of Jaipur’s buildings. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of yesteryears that were witness to royal processions and splendor are now living monuments, accepted quite naturally into the lifestyles of the people of the Pink City. Arrive by Lunch. Post lunch tour of the City palace, the Palace of Winds and the observatory. Overnight Jaipur.

Arrive Amer Fort and proceed for the hilltop fort on decorated Elephants. You ride up on elephants to the former capital of the royals set to the backdrop of wooded hills. After that Panna Meera Kund and Gaitor Tomb. Evening free to explore the colorful bazaars, Jaipur is world famous for its beautiful Jewellery and designs, textile quality among the best in word. Overnight at Jaipur.     

After breakfast, leave for Ranthambhore. Arrive by lunch time and check into hotel. 

Ranthambore National Park. Situated in the Southwest rajas than, where the Vindhayas and the Aravalli hills meet, The River Chambal in the South and Banas in the north made of rocky plains, flat hilltops, gentle slopes and precipitous cliffs covered by dry deciduous forest binds the Ranthambore are virtually an island rich in flora and fauna. The Ranthambore Park boasts of animals like Tigers, Leopards, the elusive caracals, hyenas,  sloth  bears,  wild bears etc in addition a rich bird life. Evening at leisure to enjoy the surrounding area of your Resort. Afternoon jungle safari in the park. Overnight at Ranthambore

Morning and evening Safari of in the park with park naturalist. Take a walk to the famous Ranthambore fort and visit sacred Ganesh temple. Overnight at Resort.

After breakfast, drive to Bharatpur (Ghana) Bird Sanctuary: Ghana is one of the best bird sanctuaries in India. Waterbeds assemble here during the months of July/August and breed till October. The Open bill Stork, Egret, Darter, White Ibis, Spoonbill and Heron are some of the birds found here. Also found are Chital, Black buck, Deer and other varieties of animals. Spend half day in the park riding cycle rickshaws with park naturalist. Evening continue driving to Agra. Time permitted, stop for a brief tour of the deserted city, Fatehpur Sikri. Check into your hotel. Agra, in terms of ambience is still associated with the Mughal period. With it’s laid back lifestyle and its immense wealth of architecture, handicrafts and jewellery, is amongst the most remarkable cities of the world. Overnight AGRA.

Sunrise in Agra typically occurs around 6:00 AM, so it’s important to arrive early to avoid the crowds and to experience the Taj Mahal in its peaceful, golden-hour glow. The Taj Mahal opens for visitors at Sunrise and you'll have plenty of time to explore the monument before the larger crowds arrive. 5:30 AM – Visit the Taj Mahal at Sunrise. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit the Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a fascinating glimpse into the life of the Mughal Empire. Explore the Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), and Jahangir's Palace. The fort provides a great vantage point for taking photos of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River. After spending some time for shopping, proceed for the best view of the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River, and visit Mehtab Bagh. This Mughal garden offers an uninterrupted view of the Taj Mahal and is a great spot for photography, especially if you're looking for a different perspective of the monument. Mehtab Bagh is a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It’s about 5 km from the Taj Mahal. Return to the hotel around 7PM. Overnight at the hotel. 

After an early breakfast, transfer to station to board a train to Jhansi (Train number 22470 Departure 0745 and arrival at 1030hrs), Pick up from station and drive to Orchha, visit the Chhatris, the Laxmi Narayan temple, Chaturbhuj temple, Raja Mahal and Dauji Ki Haveli. Later drive to Khajuraho.  Khajuraho famous for its stunning temples and rich history offers a unique blend of art, culture, and spirituality. Overnight at the hotel. 

After breakfast visit Western Group of Temples the most famous cluster in Khajuraho. Notable temples here include:  Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, and Varaha Temple Spend about 2 hours exploring these temples, admiring their intricate carvings, and learning about their historical significance. 

Head to the Eastern Group of Temples, which are a bit less crowded but equally captivating. Key temples include: Jain Temples such as Adinath and Parshvanath Temples, known for their detailed carvings and serene ambiance, Vamana Temple: Dedicated to Vishnu and known for stunning sculptures.   Later we visit Panna National Park for a safari Return to Khajuraho for night stay. 

After breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh in the State of Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh is also dominated by an ancient fort and is especially noted for Tiger, Gaur, Sloth Bear, Deer, Wild Boar and Antelope. Arrive and check into the hotel. Later visit to the village to soak in the rustic charm of village life to understand the local culture and tradition. The Naturalist will take you to tribal village to experience life in Central India.  Overnight at the hotel. 

Visit the reserve at dawn and dusk by jeep and elephant. 

Wake up early morning 5:15 AM – Arrival at Entry Gate 

Reach early for permit verification and briefing

  • Meet your naturalist/guide and driver
  • Begin safari at sunrise (~5:30–6:00 AM)
  • Enter core zones (Tala, Magadhi, Khitauli)
  • Focus on early morning tiger tracking through pugmarks, alarm calls
  • Possible sightings:
    • Royal Bengal Tiger
    • Leopards, sloth bears, gaur, spotted deer, langurs
    • Birds: Indian pitta, paradise flycatcher, crested serpent eagle

Morning light is ideal for photography, especially in Tala’s lush sal forests

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: break at hotel. 

Afternoon Safari (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

  • Explore less-travelled tracks in Khitauli or Magadhi zones
  • Increased chances of big cat sightings as animals return to water holes
  • Stop by scenic viewpoints and water bodies like Chakradhara, Sidhababa, or Sehra
  • Catch glimpses of peacocks, jackals, eagles, and possibly a python
  • The park closes at 6:00 PM (varies slightly by season)
  • Exit the Park
  • Return to lodge for evening tea/snacks
  • Optional: Review wildlife sightings log, photo sharing, or attend nature talk at resort

Post breakfast, drive to Kahna National Park. Arrive by late lunch.  Often described as India’s finest game sanctuary and a model for wildlife conservation, Kanha’s magnificient landscapes combines grassy meadows and flat-topped hills with meandering streams and   lush deciduous forests. The setting for Rudyard Kipling’s famous Jungle Book, Kanha is today an important Project Tiger Reserve. The rich variety of wildlife found within this 1,954 – Sq km Park, once the exclusive hunting ground of British Viceroy’s includes deer, leopard, hyena, sloth bear, pythons and nearly 300 species of birds. Overnight at the hotel. 

Morning Safari (6:00 AM – 11:00 AM)

  • 5:15 AM: Wake-up call and light refreshments (tea/coffee + biscuits)
  • 5:45 AM: Depart from lodge to park gate
  • 6:00 AM: Enter forest with guide and driver
    • Track tigers and leopards using alarm calls, pugmarks, and guide insights
    • Possible sightings:
    • Tiger, Wild elephant, Barasingha, Gaur, Sloth bear, Langurs, Birds like Indian roller, Malabar pied hornbill
  • 9:00 AM: Mid-safari breakfast break at designated forest rest point (pre-packed from resort)
  • 11:00 AM: Exit Park and return to lodge
  • 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM: Rest, lunch, and cool down at the resort

Afternoon Safari (2:30 PM – 6:00 PM)

  • 2:00 PM: Depart for afternoon safari gate check-in
  • 2:30 PM: Enter forest
    • Focus on areas with waterholes and grasslands for animal activity during warmer hours
    • Rich birdwatching opportunities near Bamni Dadar (Sunset Point, if your zone includes it)
  • 6:00 PM: Exit-park and return to lodge
  • 6:30 PM: Tea/snacks at resort, review sightings and wildlife log

Post breakfast drive to airport to board a flight to Delhi from Jabalpur (4-5hrs drive). Upon arrival in Delhi, we will transfer you to the hotel where we will provide the room/s for wash and change, followed by dinner and drop at airport to board your flight back home.
